Job Description:

  • Lead the month-end close process, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards
  • Oversee month-end close processes for accuracy and compliance with financial reporting standards
  • Reconcile complex accounts involving data from multiple systems to maintain data integrity
  • Prepare and analyze cash flow, balance sheet, and profit and loss financial statements
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate financial results and address reporting requirements
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and control frameworks
  • Manage risk by applying internal controls and monitoring compliance with regulatory guidelines
  • Lead cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues and support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Oversee lease data abstraction, system reviews, rollforwards, and footnote disclosures within the Lease Accounting Center

Requirements:

  • Option 1: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, information technology, business, or related area and 1 year's experience in accounting, finance, information technology, business, or related area
  • Option 2: 3 years' experience in accounting, finance, information technology, or related area
  • Extensive knowledge of financial statement analysis, including balance sheet, P&L, and cash flow correlations
  • Proven experience managing month-end close processes and reconciling complex accounts
  • Strong understanding of GAAP, advanced accounting standards, and regulatory compliance
  • Expertise in stakeholder management, including communication and engagement with cross-functional partners
  • Ability to identify process inefficiencies and implement continuous improvement methodologies
  • Proficiency in risk management, internal controls, and governance frameworks
  • Skilled in data management, metadata analysis, and ensuring data integrity across systems
  • Demonstrated leadership in supervising teams and driving operational excellence
