Directorate: Adult Care, Housing and Public Health
Permanent, Full time, 37 hours per week
Employment Solutions is excited to be able to offer the opportunity for an individual to join our ever-expanding team, supporting the delivery of the Pathways to Work initiative.
The role you are applying for is a Project Support Officer, providing administrative support to the team of employment advisors, as well as providing management support. The role is a dynamic role, with a variety of duties across a range of disciplines. It is a hybrid role, with the opportunity to work from home some of the week but be part of a thriving office environment as well.
The duties will include tasks such as collating and analysing data, looking for discrepancies and creating solutions, liaising with advisors to offer support in managing caseloads and creating reports for management to track progress. There will also be opportunities to attend team meetings where important issues are discussed and offer input to ensure the project develops and is successful.
Included in the role will be the responsibility for recording and logging any monetary transactions across the project and reporting totals back to management for reconciliation. Your input will be vital for monitoring budgets and ensuring the project runs on track financially.
You will be based in Riverside House for part of your role, where every day is different, and you will meet a range of customers wanting the support of the project. You will meet with these people face to face and record initial information to triage effectively and direct them to the most appropriate support network. In addition to face-to-face triage, you will use your excellent IT skills to manage the shared inbox, ensuring all referrals and enquiries are actioned in a timely manner, and high standards of customer service are always delivered.
General office-based duties will also be a part of your role, ensuring supplies of stationery, merchandise and promotional materials are replenished so staff can carry out their roles effectively.
If you are an enthusiastic team player, and have a confident, flexible approach to working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, then this could be the ideal role for you.
Please see the attached job and person profile for further detail.
Please note we will shortlist according to the shortlisting and interview criteria.
