<p><strong>Site Safety Professional (Electrical ) </strong></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>Diversified Safety Services is seeking an experienced <strong>full-time, on-site Safety Professional </strong>to oversee safety efforts on a<strong> large-scale construction project</strong>. This role requires a proven safety professional with strong leadership, hazard recognition, and risk mitigation skills to drive a proactive safety culture.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Serve as the on-site safety representative supporting the contractor, ensuring compliance with all project, client, and regulatory safety requirements.</li><li>Conduct daily site safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments, and maintain accurate logs, reports, and safety documentation.</li><li>Implement, monitor, and enforce project-specific safety plans, procedures, and PPE requirements.</li><li>Lead toolbox talks, safety orientations, and training sessions for site personnel.</li><li>Maintain regular on-site presence and actively participate in project and team meetings to provide proactive safety guidance.</li><li>Investigate and document accidents, incidents, and near misses, ensuring corrective actions are taken to prevent recurrence.</li><li>Mentor field safety staff and subcontractor safety representatives, promoting engagement and accountability.</li><li>Support additional project-specific safety initiatives and compliance requirements as needed.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>OSHA 30 Hour Construction, or OSHA 510</li><li>CHST or STS-C, required </li><li>First Aid CPR</li><li>NFPA70E</li><li>Lock out / Tag Out (LOTO)</li><li>Must have at least 5 years of construction safety experience, preferably with an electrical contractor</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Understanding of OSHA guidelines and safety policies</li><li>Ability to produce reports and develop relevant policies</li><li>Extensive attention to detail to distinguish safety hazards</li><li>Ability to provide detailed reports and develop safety procedures</li><li>Good organizational, leadership, and motivational skills</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Ability to recognize when safety conditions need improvement</li><li>Ability to prioritize tasks, especially when handling an accident or incident</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong><em>Diversified Safety Services is a nationwide safety consulting firm supporting contractors across all trades, from general contractors to specialty and subcontractors.
