You will work on the full lifecycle of large-scale, Java/Spring-based services that sit at the heart of the platform: design, development, testing, deployment and ongoing operation. Through a single integration, PaymentIQ connects merchants to more than 260 payment service providers, reducing the cost and complexity of adding new providers, supporting expansion into new markets and enabling flexible checkout experiences.</p><p>Our team brings deep familiarity with payment orchestration operations, including hands-on experience using platforms in both PSP and merchant environments.</p><h5><strong>We're on the lookout for a person, who will..</strong></h5><ul><li><p>Be responsible for the full lifecycle of innovative, large-scale Java/Spring-based products: design, development, quality assurance, deployment, maintenance, and support, ensuring high standards and adhering to best development practices</p></li><li><p>Translate software requirements into maintainable solutions within the existing application frameworks</p></li><li><p>Engage with the broader tech community to understand emerging technologies and incorporate them into existing workflows<br></p></li></ul><div><p><strong>Jumping into this position, we're looking for you to..</strong></p></div><ul><li><p>6+ years of product-development experience in a software engineering role at a tech company</p></li><li><p>Strong, deep experience with Java and Spring / Spring Boot </p></li><li><p>Solid grasp of SQL, REST/JSON APIs, and event-driven systems (Kafka or equivalent)</p></li><li><p>Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, and Linux in a production context</p></li><li><p>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; a knack for breaking down complex problems</p></li><li><p>English communication, written and verbal </p></li><li><p>Hands-on experience using AI coding agents as part of your daily workflow and building lightweight automation around them (custom prompts, scripts, CI integrations, agent-driven workflows) to ship faster without losing quality </p></li><li><p>BSc / MSc in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent practical experience) </p></li></ul><h5>Tech stack:</h5><p>💫 Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, Elastic Search, SQL, Rest/JSON, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, and Linux.</p><h5>Bonus</h5><ul><li><p>Experience in fintech, payments, or other regulated environments.</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with OpenSearch / Elasticsearch.</p></li><li><p>Exposure to PCI-DSS or similar compliance contexts.</p></li></ul><h5>What's in for you?</h5><ul><li><p>Do we provide equipment?
