Alongside strategic communications, we work with founders and organisations across product, design, technology, go-to-market, growth, and marketing challenges through a network of specialists and partners.</p><p><strong>Role Overview</strong><br>We are looking for a Business Development Associate who can identify and connect with founders, startups, and organisations that may need support across areas such as design, product development, code, go-to-market strategy, growth, marketing, and strategic communications.</p><p>This role focuses on scouting opportunities, building relationships with founders, and identifying situations where the right strategic support can create meaningful impact.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li><p>Identify founders, startups, and organisations that may require support in design, development, GTM, growth, marketing, or communications</p></li><li><p>Conduct research to understand company context, stage, and potential needs</p></li><li><p>Reach out to founders and leadership teams via LinkedIn, email, and ecosystem networks</p></li><li><p>Build and maintain relationships with founders and operators</p></li><li><p>Identify opportunities where M3 and its partner network can provide strategic support</p></li><li><p>Qualify potential engagements and introduce relevant opportunities to the team</p></li><li><p>Maintain a pipeline of leads, conversations, and partnerships</p></li><li><p>Represent M3’s positioning clearly as a strategic advisory and partner network</p></li></ul><p><strong>Ideal Candidate</strong></p><ul><li><p>Strong communication and relationship-building skills</p></li><li><p>Curious about startups, founders, and new companies being built</p></li><li><p>Comfortable with outreach and starting conversations</p></li><li><p>Research-driven mindset and ability to understand business context</p></li><li><p>Self-starter who enjoys networking and identifying opportunities</p></li></ul><p><strong>Nice to Have</strong></p><ul><li><p>Experience in business development, partnerships, or startup ecosystems</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with product, design, growth, marketing, or communications</p></li><li><p>Active on LinkedIn or startup communities</p></li></ul><p><strong>What You’ll Gain</strong></p><ul><li><p>Direct exposure to founders and startup ecosystems</p></li><li><p>Opportunity to build a strong professional network</p></li><li><p>Learning across product, growth, communications, and strategy</p></li><li><p>A flexible and fast-moving work environment</p></li></ul><p><strong>Compensation</strong><br>Base compensation + performance-based incentives for qualified client engagements.</p>
