Position Overview

The Statistics Analyst I is a part-time position within our Data and Analysis division at arenaflex. Our team is responsible for producing elite-level data, insights, and storytelling that ensure fans trust arenaflex for depth and perspective. Scores and statistics on virtually all arenaflex platforms – our television networks, the Bottom Line, arenaflex.com, Fantasy, Game Cast, and more – are produced or maintained by the Details and Investigation team. Statistics Analysts ensure the accuracy of this data (scores, schedules, standings, leaderboards, etc.) on arenaflex platforms around the world. They work with automated data feeds and utilize manual data entry to ensure the delivery of accurate, timely, and intelligent sports data.

Key Responsibilities

As a Statistics Analyst I at arenaflex, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that sports data disseminated by our Data and Information teams is accurate, timely, and insightful. You'll work in both individual settings and in groups to deliver accurate statistical breakdowns, clock-and-score updates, and various measurements and data in real-time that power countless arenaflex products and productions.

    Data Accuracy:

    Guarantee sports information distributed by Data and Information is accurate, timely, and wise through meticulous verification and entry processes.

      Real-Time Processing:

      Work in individual settings and in teams to deliver accurate statistical breakdowns, clock-and-score updates, and various measurements and data in real-time that power numerous arenaflex products and television productions.

        Product Knowledge:

        Develop and maintain an active understanding of Data and Information's role in fueling arenaflex digital products and television productions.

          Quality Assurance:

          Verify the results of your own work and that of others; perform with consistently high attention to detail.

            Cross-Functional Collaboration:

            Contribute to production, operations, and initiatives across the newsroom, and assist newsroom leaders who are coordinating full-time and part-time staff.

              Problem Anticipation:

              Anticipate potential issues, both daily and long-term, and offer possible solutions. Communicate rapidly and decisively with colleagues on these matters.

                Process Improvement:

                Play a proactive role in working with partners to develop or refine production processes.
