Ocean Export Coordinator

Overview
We are seeking a Ocean Export Coordinator to join our team in Virginia. This role is essential in handling the export process for ocean freight shipments, with car shipping being a major roll, ensuring compliance with all regulations and providing exceptional service to our clients. Experience in car shipping is an advantage!

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the export process for ocean freight shipments from start to finish.
• Prepare and review shipping documentation, including bills of lading and export permits.
• Collaborate with carriers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory levels, and any discrepancies.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Ocean export (worked before for an NVO or a shipping line).
• Familiar with the shipping lines (Maersk, MSC, CMA, Hapag, Zim, YML, EGL, and so on).
• Good communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, vendors, and team members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Advantage for candidates who have experience in car shipping.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $42,000.00 - $49,000.00 per year
