Merchant Risk Analyst

Assessing financial and non-financial risks, the contract-to-hire Merchant Risk Analyst will evaluate credit exposure, monitor fraud trends, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fully remote setting. Key responsibilities Assess various risks and determine credit exposure risk for new and existing merchants Utilize business credit reports and financial market data to conduct comprehensive risk assessments Monitor credit, fraud, and chargeback trends to identify changes and anomalies in merchant performance Required qualifications Experience in risk assessment, particularly in credit and fraud analysis Proficiency with business credit reports and investigative research tools Understanding of financial market data and its application in risk evaluation Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams effectively Knowledge of automation and improvements in risk evaluation processes
