The SAP Order & Inventory Management Specialist is responsible for managing accurate order processing and inventory records within SAP systems. This role partners closely with internal teams to ensure inventory accuracy, timely issue resolution, and efficient supply chain operations. The position also involves coordinating with vendors to resolve order discrepancies and payment‐related concerns.
Key Responsibilities
Process and manage customer and internal orders within SAP, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
Monitor and maintain inventory levels, performing routine checks and reconciliations to ensure data integrity.
Collaborate with cross‐functional teams to validate physical and system inventory, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
Investigate and resolve inventory and order‐related errors by troubleshooting system or process issues.
Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders regarding errors, updates, and process improvements.
Coordinate with vendors to resolve order discrepancies, delivery issues, and payment‐related concerns.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and recommending process enhancements.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls related to order and inventory management.
Qualifications & Skills
Several years of hands‐on experience working with SAP, specifically in order processing and inventory management.
Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot discrepancies and system issues.
Proven ability to work cross‐functionally and communicate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders.
Experience coordinating with vendors and resolving order and payment‐related issues.
High attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
Ability to perform effectively in a fast‐paced, team‐oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in supply chain, logistics, or manufacturing environments.
Familiarity with inventory auditing and reconciliation processes.
