<p><strong>HR Administrator – Transport & Logistics Sector</strong></p><p><em>Thurrock | Fully On-Site | up to £35,000 | Permanent | Immediate Start</em></p><p><br></p><p>Looking to put your HR admin skills to good use in a fast-paced, no-two-days-the-same kind of environment? I’m working with a well-established company in the transport & logistics sector, based in Thurrock, who are looking for a confident and proactive <strong>HR Administrator</strong> to join their team. This is a <strong>permanent, full-time</strong> position with an <strong>immediate start available</strong>.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Important to note</strong>: This role is <strong>fully on-site</strong> with no option for remote or hybrid working. It’s best suited to someone who drives or lives very locally, as the location isn’t well-served by public transport.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>What you’ll be doing:</strong></p><p><br></p><p>You’ll be supporting a busy HR function with a mix of admin, compliance and health & safety tasks. The role covers everything from onboarding and recruitment checks, to supporting driver inductions, tracking training records and keeping on top of HSE compliance.</p><p>This role will suit someone who’s highly organised, understands the importance of accuracy in HR and compliance, and is happy working in a lively environment.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key bits of the job:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Admin support across the full employee lifecycle</li><li>Assisting with recruitment (especially for drivers) and compliance checks</li><li>Onboarding and inductions, including for HGV drivers</li><li>Managing training and certification records (CPC, ADR, HSE etc.)</li><li>Supporting disciplinary and grievance processes</li><li>Helping ensure the site stays compliant with safety procedures</li><li>HR data reporting and general team support</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>You’ll need:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Previous HR admin experience (ideally in logistics, transport or industrial sectors)</li><li>A good understanding of compliance & employment processes</li><li>Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced office</li><li>HSE knowledge or qualifications – a definite plus!</li><li>Strong attention to detail and confident communication skills</li><li>A car (or to live very locally) – as getting to the site without one isn’t really feasible</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>What’s on offer:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Up to £35,000 salary</li><li>Private healthcare</li><li>Cycle to work scheme</li><li>On-site parking</li><li>A vibrant, fast-paced office environment</li><li>Monday to Friday, 08:30–17:30</li></ul><p><br></p><p>If this sounds like something you'd be a great fit for or you'd like to know more - drop me a message at amalysko@theonegroup.co.uk or send over your CV.</p><p></p>
