The Assistant Warehouse Manager is required to help oversee the daily operations for the warehouse. They are responsible for monitoring furniture that arrives from various vendors as well as monitoring furniture that goes out to our customers. Other important duties include inventory counts are correct, and ensuring that warehouse employees are working effectively towards a common goal.

Responsibilities:

  • Train, mentor, monitor, and evaluate staff
  • Plan, coordinate, and perform daily operations across all warehouse departments
  • Maintain and analyze key metrics
  • Create and approve staff schedules
  • Recommend and implement departmental policies
  • Perform opening and closing duties
  • Demonstrate the company's core values in performance of all job functions
  • Assist with hiring & staffing for warehouse team
